Trying to control society like a puppet,
Dangling upon strings.
The social contract is broken.
It’s been broken for a long time.
As the affluent hoard wealth,
Power mongers reach sticky fingers,
The right-wing morons lick boots.
Bowing on their hands and knees.
Worshipping false idols,
Greedy,
Despicable tyrants.
I refuse to play.
The game was rigged from the start.
Speaking of a dream,
As if everybody could ever attain it.
Whilst the masses were shut out,
Left to die in the cold.
Their labor used and abused,
Until they were mere husks.
Fallow,
Lifeless.
More zombie than human.
Stand with me.

For feeding us lies,
Whilst whitewashing truth.
