That golden question.
Am I fated for their hate?
Or is hatred because of rank,
For daring to attempt ascension?
To be a fully realized human,
Instead of a worthless peon.
Do they detest me,
Because I wish for independence?
Individualism?
Shall I be despised for my beliefs?
Perhaps I should be hated,
Because I was born wrong.
Slathered in mental disabilities.
My differences are surely worthy of fury?
My rotund body – detestable.
Queer leanings – disgusting.
Or just because of an ugly face?
The golden question.
Is it destiny,
To be hated forever?
