It’s been a long time coming!
After three to four years of waiting, The Marionette Man is finally live and available for purchase in all Amazon stores and storefronts. You can find it here: The Marionette Man. It’s an original 18+ Science Fiction Novel, written by yours truly. My elevator pitch for the book is: “A Series of Unfortunate Events For Adults.”
The back of the book reads as follows: “Life just isn’t easy in Central Universe if you’re not one of the immortal gods. As the only family related to a deceased navy captain serving The Guardians of Destiny, Arthur Brass and his mother lived a relatively quiet life. At least up until the day the G.O.D.’s secret police pushed just a little too far.
Brought up on unfair charges – with his execution suddenly looming, Arthur is soon forced to make a decision that will change the rest of his life.
In Central, everyone is a pawn of the ascended, and Arthur is about to find out the terrifying truth when it comes to the types of cruel games played by those who live forever…”
I’m extremely grateful to everybody who has helped me with this book over the years: The early test readers who read it back when it was still a first person novel, friends who have edited initial manuscripts and provided feedback, and everybody who has given me positive words of encouragement and urged me to keep going, even when all hope has seemed lost.
It’s been a long journey – fighting through book deals signed, then left to rot for multiple years and finally being abruptly cancelled, harassment and targeting of me as a disabled artist and creator, and the brigading of my work via negative comments from trolls and bullies. And of course there were the multiple self-edits this damn novel took!
Yep. One hell of a long journey.
But how else could we get here, right?
I’m still working on getting the hardcover editions verified and formatted properly, but until then, you can access the book via both the Kindle Unlimited platform as an ebook, or purchase a softcover copy in the meantime.
Also, for the launch week of April 18th-23rd, the book should be free as an ebook in the Amazon store if I’ve set it all up correctly! Meaning you can get a free copy for your own purview.
