COME,
Rivals!
Bear down upon me,
Foes.
I hath waged a thousand wars,
Across ten thousand battlefields.
Slaughtered myself,
Within and without.
Come.
Test me.
Let me see what brave souls,
Linger in shadowed wings.
It that studies everything,
Anything,
Becomes something.
The cackling dervish,
I am certainly not.
My favorite type of enemy!
The laughing fool,
Playing at god.
Yet does a good job of it.
COME!
Let us see your wiles,
And wits.
COME!
Fight me evermore.
A challenge to your limits.
So I may glow,
With morbid amusement.
