How many dreaming doors?
Portals to a hundred different attempts at utopia,
Always up against forces beyond me –
Regardless of any of my omnipotence bleeding through.
Climbing endless towers,
Battling endless militaries,
Fist-knuckle battles against oppressors,
Or sometimes just predators,
Or monsters,
Hungry for my death,
& meat.
