Dear, you mean more than some underscore written by a semantic. Right now you’re frantic, it probably feels like your heart’s been torn right out of the bone cage you were born in, leaving you to bleed out lost and alone. I surmise that my eyes can’t pierce your pain, much like the rain can’t truly echo tears, and your fears are manifesting themselves before your very sight, a blight on your very life. But believe me, when I say, that it WILL go away, and like a phoenix, rising out of ash and golden feathers, your heavenly air will flare up and scare away the darkness of doubt. My friend, your air is one of unmistakable care, putting together pictures and albums for those you hold dear, clearly evidence of a beautiful soul, your heart is punched, the hole a perfect circle, dripping with what you crave so deeply in life, keeping in time with generations past. Love was never meant to be easy, piecing it together isn’t simply the work of a dove, where love follows blindly without conflict. Love is war, for which you must struggle and strain, gaining so much more than you left behind in vain. I understand that everybody just wants to be loved, above all else, and sitting as some accessory to a man pans out to be not quite in your best interests. But life is simply a search, where you swim through a sea of uncertainty, breathing in what you need and filtering out the seaweed and fish. A kiss is freely given but seldom earned, and you have to be spurned before you can grasp it, where it sits in the palm of your hand like a snowflake – before fading away. My friend, you’re one of few, too true for me or you, or for the bigger picture. You need to look inwards, beneath your innards and bone, blood and mineral stone, and even the cells themselves, to find what truly makes you happy. It’s a lifelong journey, and you’ve just begun, so before it seems like all the fun of the world has been eclipsed by loneliness, before the soap of dreaming slips through your hands, step forwards, into the light. Be dark in the day, so the brightness can slowly wash it away. And I’m sure you’ll find with time, that as everything bad slowly ebbs away, that you’re stronger because of it all.
