Always the other;
Never an insider – without careful masking.
Canadian amongst Americans,
Neurodiverse amidst neurotypicals,
Thank fuck I used to act,
I guess?
Perhaps the fawn response baked into me,
From abuse,
Can even be a useful tool when self aware.
